Who Is Sherod?
A family man with an affinity for Hip Hop and Golf, Sherod is always finding ways to bring his real life hobbies and passions into his craft of being a voice artist. With swag and sophistication, Sherod’s voiceover work brings a smooth elegance that is unparalleled in the industry. Prior to voiceover work, Sherod spent twenty years as a casino dealer, working in life insurance sales, and has given over six thousand Uber rides; so it’s clear he’s always liked to use his voice and be conversational. He has never met a stranger and is extremely enthusiastic and energetic about his career. A lover of sports, Sherod is always carrying a John Madden passion with his voice work. He was inspired to get into voice over industry from the voices of sports announcers that shaped his viewing experience. To this day, Sherod can hear Jim Nance make the call that Tiger Woods won his first Masters Tournament saying “a win for the ages” and that is exactly what he strives to do in his own career.
